LLG Live Like Giorgia

LLG Softball a.s.d. was established to keep alive the memory of Giorgia Trocciola, a 17-year-old girl who tragically passed away during a study experience in Colorado Springs, USA. Her story is that of a young girl like many, for whom sports represented a side activity to school life, until the American experience showed and proved to her something different. In the United States, Giorgia discovered sport as a path to development and fulfillment, where academic achievement and competitive performance go hand in hand. In this context, sport is not just a pastime, but a concrete opportunity, capable of opening important doors such as university scholarships and thus propitiating other personal successes. Giorgia was thus able to mature greater self-awareness, experiencing firsthand how commitment to sports had become a necessary condition for her daily well-being, both physical and mental.
